Abandoning unwholesome sensuality,
one abstains from sexual misconduct.
One does not become sexually involved with those
who are protected by their mothers, their fathers,
their brothers, their sisters, their relatives, or their Dharma;
those with partners, those who entail punishments,
or those crowned with flowers by another.
One must not engage in sexual acts with one who does not give consent; with one who gives consent under threat or duress; with one who is permanently or temporarily unable to give consent; with one who is deceived; with one’s father, mother, uncles, aunts, siblings, or other close relatives; with one who is married, engaged, or living with another; with a minor; with one who is mentally incompetent; with one’s prisoner or debtor; with one of lower rank or status; with an employee or apprentice; with a patient or student; with a monastic; or with a member of another species.
