True Morality

bud1Morality contrary to the Dharma manifests as a sense of superiority over those who do not observe it, competition with those who guard it more purely, and the desire to obtain advantage and gain as a consequence of our ‘admirable’ conduct.

The morality of the Dharma does not judge, compete, or seek profit. On the contrary, true morality comforts and motivates others, and seeks their benefit.
