When and How to Share the Dharma

Speak not hastily of the Dharma, but examine the hearers. If you discern that they are fit recipients, then speak, even uninvited.

If you should meet greedy and unkind persons, do not speak of austerity, but praise the virtues of giving. If there should be persons established in moderate virtue, win their friendship and praise austerity.
