Dharmadatta Community Nuns

Women, Ananda, having gone forth

are able to realize the fruit of stream-entry,

or the fruit of once-returning,

or the fruit of non-returning,

or complete enlightenment.

What does gender matter at all,

when the mind is concentrated well,

when knowledge flows on steadily

as one sees correctly into the Dharma?

“I am a woman” or “I am a man”

or “I’m anything at all” is deceived.

Thanks! The text is The Thirty-seven Verses on the Practice of a Bodhisattva. There are various versions, but there’s no need to buy a book. I’ll bring copies. TN
