Permanent Crisis

samsaraSamsara ―the cycle of birth, disease, aging, and death― is always in crisis, but we get a little comfortable in a barely tolerable situation, and forget that the house is burning down around us.

We should be grateful when we can actually see the flames and feel the heat, because we are in that moment a little less deluded.
