The Seed of Compassion

shabkarEating meat, at the cost of great suffering for animals, is unacceptable. If, bereft of compassion and wisdom, you eat meat, you have turned your back on liberation. The Buddha said, “The eating of meat annihilates the seed of compassion”.

Thank you for yet another motivating post concerning letting go of eating meat. Though we can never eradicate all suffering, not eating meat is an easy and honest step from our side. In my case it’s truly killing the habit.. Nice to see you back in blogland btw Tashi Nyima!

All the best in your study and practice!
