Why is it that philosophers argue? It is because of attachment to views, adherence to views, addiction to views, obsession with views, and holding firmly to views that philosophers argue.

If one approves of something, receives an oral tradition, reaches a conclusion based on reasoned cogitation, accepts a view as a result of pondering, one preserves the truth by saying: “The view that I accept is thus”.
